Jammu & Kashmir State Handloom Development Corporation is a state owned enterprise wholly owned by Government of Jammu & Kashmir. It is engaged in development & promotion of handlooms manufactured in the State. Jammu & Kashmir State Handloom Development Corporation runs its marketing activity under the name and style of POSHISH. It has comprehensive production infrastructure at Jammu as well as Srinagar. In Jammu it has a handloom weaving facility where weavers are provided gainful employment and these weavers are engaged in weaving of very fine quality of Cotton fabric. A facility center has been set up at Srinagar which caters to wool based product range. A comprehensive manufacturing infrastructure is in place supplemented with a CAD facility, a Testing laboratory, and all pre-loom inputs.
